Give us a call at (561) 571-9076 to determine if your condition qualifies you.

Bring a valid Florida state identification card or driver’s license. We only accept Florida IDs or driver’s licenses as proof of identification. If your IDs have expired, were lost or stolen, you may bring a passport instead, along with a DMV receipt proving that you have applied for renewal or replacement. If you are a new resident of Florida, you may bring an out of state ID along with a DMV receipt proving that you have applied for a Florida ID.

New patients must bring medical documentation. Documentation can be in the form of doctor letters, medications, MRIs, prescriptions, x-rays or any other evidence that proves that you have seen a physician who diagnosed you with a medical condition.

If you are renewing a recommendation from another doctor, you must bring the original recommendation with a doctor signature. Copies are not accepted. The previous recommendation must not be older than 30 days.

A patient’s privacy and confidentiality are top priorities. Medical records are never released to any employers, state or federal agencies, or insurance companies. Your status as a medical marijuana patient won’t appear on background checks performed by schools, employers, insurance, or government agencies. We take careful precautions to ensure that patient information remains strictly confidential.

Employers have the right to drug test and terminate patients who test positive for marijuana, irregardless of medical marijuana card usage. Some employers may exempt patients with a valid doctor recommendation. However, even if you are a legal medical marijuana user in Florida, employers have the discretion to terminate. If you have concerns about drug testing, please discuss them with your employer.

Patients who qualify for a medical marijuana card are eligible to be treated with medical cannabis products containing varying amounts of THC and CBD. They are available in a variety of forms such as capsules, oral liquids, transcutaneous creams, and vaporized. Patients are currently not permitted to smoke flower but may vaporize flower sold in a tamper-proof, sealed vessel.

The doctor verifies that a patient has a medical condition that qualifies them to receive medical cannabis. The doctor must determine that benefits outweigh risks. A patient or their caregiver is able to acquire products from a medical marijuana center upon receiving a medical marijuana card.

With a medical marijuana card, patients may get medical cannabis from a state-approved medical marijuana treatment center. Centers will verify what they are allowed to distribute with the patient’s certification.
